Hi! I’m Lindsey, and I am so glad that you’re here.

Like many people nowadays, I have struggled with inflammation, hormonal issues, a complex relationship with food, exercise limitations… you name it. A few years ago while working in the corporate world, I started experiencing autoimmune issues that took away my energy and left me in a chronic state of stress. After several unsuccessful doctors visits, I decided it was time to take control of my own health. I started learning about approaches that create health, such as functional medicine, eastern medicinal practices, supplementation, meditation, dietary theories, and so much more. After years of building this foundation, and one final workday meltdown in my car, I took the leap and enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. It was then that my wellness journey truly started.

During my time with IIN, I left the corporate world and took an opportunity to impact the public school food system working with Cornell University at a local cooperative extension. Salad bars were introduced and a Farm to School infrastructure was built. To this day, I still function as a board member on wellness and advisory committees. From there, I moved on to work a stint in the healthcare world. Here, I had a front row seat to the model of sick-care being provided and the lack of education and awareness out there to prevent the epidemic of chronic illness we are seeing today. I found this disheartening, and chose to pivot into a position where I could make a greater impact by working 1:1 with individuals to empower them to take control of their health. As a result, The WellFully Defined was born.

Through it all, I have found that using food as medicine and addressing several foundational factors that directly impact wellness have incredible healing power. Taking this approach, I have been able to heal my gut issues, better stabilize my hormones, and find the joy in every moment. I am better able to manage my stress and use my energy to focus on the things that matter, like cultivating strong relationships and living a life filled with laughter and enjoyment. Wellness does take work, but I strongly believe that it is the foundation of living a truly fulfilling life.

I currently live in upstate New York with my husband, Jason, my stepdaughter, Ava, and my four pups, Hank, Waylon, Remington, & Luna. I am a HUGE foodie, and love laughing until my stomach hurts. I enjoy relaxing with a cup of tea surrounded by candles & plants, and making this beautiful house a home. You can find me hiking the back mountain on warm days, or lounging by the pool with a good book. I dance like I’m good at it, LOVE trying out new recipes, and always have music playing somewhere in the house. Family time is the best time, and friends are always welcome. This space I’ve created here is for you, as much as it is for me.

I am so happy you found me in my little corner of the internet, and I am so very grateful to have the opportunity to help you define what it looks like for you to live fully, and be well.

Love Lindsey, and The WellFully Defined.
